PHEAA’s Pennsylvania School Services team will be providing three webinars this Fall for students and families.

 

Searching For Scholarships – September 18, 2023, from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.

The cost of a postsecondary education can add up quickly for students and families. Thankfully, there is funding to help cover those expenses. Join us as we share tips to help students successfully search and apply for scholarships. After attending this webinar, students will understand the different types of scholarships, resources for finding scholarships, and tools to help increase their chances of earning those scholarships.

Creating Your Federal Student Aid Account (FSA ID)November 14, 2023, from 6:00 - 6:30 PM

In order to fill out and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®), students and parents will need an FSA ID. Join us to learn more about what the FSA ID is, who should create an FSA ID account, when you should create an FSA ID, and what will be needed to create an FSA ID.

Financial Aid 101 – December 13, 2023, from 6:00 – 7:00 PM

Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) Access Partners Amy Sawdey and Amy Sloan will present information on the financial aid application process, what types of aid are available for students, and strategies to start thinking about affordability before getting ready to apply for postsecondary school admission. Time will be built into the presentation to allow you to ask any questions you may have regarding the financial aid process.
