Pennsylvania School Climate Survey

 

The River Valley School District is taking part in the Pennsylvania School Climate surveys provided by The Pennsylvania Department of Education. The survey asks several questions about school climate and measures three main domains: Social/Emotional Learning, Student Support, and Safe and Respectful School Climate. 

The free online surveys are intended to provide school teams with data to support student engagement. The surveys yield an overall school climate score and subscores in the domains which have been shown, through research, to play a role in student learning and development. More information about the surveys, including a webinar about the surveys, can be viewed at: http://www.paschoolclimate.pa.gov/.  Data is anonymous and cannot be linked back to individuals, the survey has been designed to allow schools to look at how different stakeholders are experiencing the school learning environment. 

This information is useful for educators who are using multiple data sources to enhance learning experiences.  Please COMPLETE ONLY ONE of the TWO surveys linked below. The surveys will be open now through June 30, 2025.
