Mobile Hotspot Deactivation Notice

The River Valley School District is discontinuing the use of mobile hotspot devices effective July 1, 2024.

As part of this change, all students who have a school-issued mobile hotspot must turn in their device to their school building office. These devices will be deactivated on Monday, July 1, 2024, and will no longer function. The office will notify the IT department that it was turned in. Please follow the steps below on how to turn in your hotspot. 

If you currently have a school-issued mobile hotspot in your possession, please take the following steps:

  1. Power off the hotspot device.
  2. Bring the hotspot and any accompanying cables/accessories to your school office with your name on the box.
