The River Valley School District is seeking applicants for a full-time First Grade Teacher position at Blairsville Elementary School. The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction to first-grade students, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Compensation and benefits: The starting salary for this position is over $70,000 for a first-year teacher, with the potential for additional steps based on experience. Employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, including retirement plans, 100% of the healthcare premium paid by the district, and an option for a healthcare buyout at 50% of the insurance premium. Tuition reimbursement is available for continuing education and professional development, with professional development opportunities provided every Friday afternoon. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a valid Pennsylvania teaching certification are required. Dual certification in Special Education or as a Reading Specialist is preferred.

The River Valley School District is seeking applicants for three paraprofessional positions at Blairsville Elementary School. Individuals will be working in classrooms with students with disabilities. Duties include both of the following:
- Instructional Assistant Tasks
- Personal Care Assistant Tasks

Compensation and benefits: The starting salary for this position is $14.51 per hour. Employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes retirement plans, health insurance, and vision and dental coverage. 

Qualifications: Associate degree, a minimum of 48 credits at a postsecondary education institution, or completion of the local Credential of Competency.
