Athletics
We are proud members of the Heritage Conference, which is located in the District VI region of PIAA. For our student-athletes, life skills such as setting goals, time management, cooperation, and sportsmanship are enhanced by participating in organized team sports.
We encourage athletics participation because it provides our students with essential lessons for life such as teamwork, self-discipline, hard work, and courage. By offering cheerleading, football, golf, cross country, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track and field, baseball, and softball, we hope that students learn these essential lessons and grow into productive student-athletes.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Starting with Fall sports in the 2026-2027 school year, we will be using a new athletics management program called BOUND. This is where student athletes and parents will register for school sports if you are in grades 6-11 and will be playing either Junior High or Varsity sports next year. Marching band members will also register here.
Parents/guardians must first create an account, and then add their student-athletes. Registration can be done using the web link to River Valley's BOUND website, or by downloading the BOUND App on your phone.
Next fall, you'll be able to follow River Valley and other Heritage Conference schools on the BOUND app to see schedules, scores and updates all in one place! If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Dixon by email!
