This See the Sound Visual Phonics© training is a multi-sensory strategy consisting of hand gestures and written symbols/fonts to match the phonemes/sounds in spoken language. This session introduces families to those gestures and fonts and explores ways that families can use them, at home, to help support their student’s progress with reading, language, and writing skills. These strategies can benefit all students who are struggling or beginning readers; including students with learning disabilities, students who are deaf or hard of hearing, and students with speech and language difficulties.
