White House Cybersecurity Summit
Mr. Philip Martell, Superintendent of the River Valley School District, was invited to join leaders at the White House for a summit to establish best practices and recommendations for schools to protect their digital infrastructure against cyber threats.
Superintendent Philip Martell represented River Valley School District at the event hosted by First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas. The event, “Back to School Safely: Cybersecurity for K-12 Schools,” aims to enhance school security and highlight resources available to the education sector.

The Panthers take on the Portage Mustangs in the first football game at the new stadium. This event marks a significant milestone for our school and community, and we encourage everyone to come out and support the team at this historic game!
